Thursday

Lars is home tonight! Yay! :-D

Setting the alarm of my cellphone seems to work, so I'll keep using that until I get too good at ignoring it.

I'm getting ok at remembering the 'small' things (dishes, wipe tables, shine sink, put out clothes for tomorrow), because they all have a fixed place in my routine by now (WOW! I never thought I'd be able to say that!), so I think I'll limit this to those things that *don't*.
  • Spend another 15 minutes on desk (and that may actually finish it off!)
  • Fold and put away laundry

Wednesday

I figured it out! I set the alarm on my cell phone to go off about an hour after I expect to get home from work. This gives me time to relax a bit and then reminds me that I need to check here for my chores for the day :-) Well, it worked yesterday anyway, so I'm going to try again today.
  • Grocery shoppping
  • Use 15 minutes on desk (it NEEDS it! :-P )
  • Do dishes
  • Wipe down tables
  • Shine sink
  • Floss
  • Put out clothes for tomorrow
  • Take vitamins

Getting back on track?

I can get back on track! ... Right? Funny how these inspirations always come when I have plans that night, and won't be able to do anything about it until the next day :-P

Still, I really want to get back 'in the groove'. My flat is no where NEAR as chaotic as it was before we started keeping each other accountable, but it's not even close to being where I'd like it to be either.

So back on the wagon for me it is. The annoying thing is that it's not a matter of lack of time, it's a matter of lack of self-discipline. I know I ought to do this or that, but I can't be bothered. Pathetic really.

Tomorrow I must:
* Make bed
* Swish and swipe
* Use 15 minutes in zone
* Do dishes
* Wipe down tables
* Shine sink
* Floss
* Put out clothes for Sunday.

There... 8 measly things, not one of them take more than 15 minutes. I HAVE to be able to do this!
